A poem: For Bunga

with your shiny yellow hair swimming down your shoulders
and your infectious giggle revealing your dimples
instantly i wondered...
are you my soul sister?

and then we were joined by one thought
summer. SUMMER.

Chop chop, your threads of silk feathered to your feet
and the birth of the pixie alice Bunga astounded us all.
BAM!

PLink, plink, plink, the pieces of my heart fell to the floor
but Bunga held me in her arms and coo-ed.
We swigged from the bottle and we swished our hips
to and fro to the rhythm pulsing through us

we are connected by one thought:
summer. SUMMER.

country laze, sunny daze.

She walked along the road with her school bag slung over her shoulder as she struggled with her new gigantic art folder. To the side of the road her sight was diverted to a mushroom circle of poppies. Bending over to pick one up, her folder bent and slipped from her grasp. This is when she decided to talk a gander off route home.
Along the side of the golf course the grass grew high, high enough to engulf her knees and lower. Randomly to the edge of the course a long knobly log was drawn up to mark the edge. Slinging her folder to the floor, where the grass was freshly cut to keep up appearences. You could still smell the fresh spiring smell that wafts over after a cut. She reached in to her bag for her bottle of water and takes a swig. She felt for the flower blazeing contrast in her mass of blonde loose curls that she had put for safe keeping, leaving the lid to her water she popped the poppy in with the head poking out.
Lying face down with her head leaning to the side against her arms she watched the ant walk up and down her arm dazily in circles as if on drugs.
A cheer from a putt in one woke her from her country laze, more like sunny daze. Swiftly she heaped her belongings and set off for home.

grains apon my fingertips

wet feet graze the grains of sand
stick to my soles and the side of my face.
Drop off as i walk alone in this land
the beat of my heart in time with my pace.
my slightly salty skin browned by the sun
reveals itself once more to the world.
the icy wind will bother no one
never shall we have to live in the cold.
a fish or a crab or a whale id be
and live my life as the waves flow.
oh what it would be to live in the sea
deep in the waters where only cool fish go.
but here i lay all alone on the shore
with a pebble and a shell i will ponder.
what makes me sit here and look out in awe
who made the sea in its wonder.
I sieve through the sand as they stick to my fingers
the smell of the sea on skin
ill wonder how long that smell there lingers
and the stories it tells where ive been.

bare

bare feet walking through this land
unbelievable heat but im wading through sand
the sea comes a creeping and licks my soles
layering my flesh to patch up the holes.
wanderer
wonderer

palms to the sky tracing the clouds as they race
mindset calm no bad thoughts cross her face
girl with odd earings and blonde long bed hair
at peace with no fearings and does as she dares.
adventurer
discoverer

blazing bare arms wave round her head in the sun
no need for alarm body and soul act as one
she spins and turns in the blades of green grass
she looks and she learns shes at peace at last.

A story about the Egg who writes here....

There once lived a lonely little egg, on the south side of the coast line. Surrounded by achovies living happy content little lives. Little lonely egg was not happy with her life. Egg wanted to live life to the full. With love and excitement, with her fellow chums the Flea and the Nit. But her heart reamined With the Coliflower. The Coliflower. Egg's true love on the east side of the coast. Such big dreams for such a little Egg.

i smile and i bite. i crash and try harder. i give it all to be better, go bigger and laugh more. how about you come take a ride with her and lets share the laughs.

Like sugar on a candy cane
summer is resting on my skin
Slightly salty like the ocean breeze
beaten down like a pebble sleeping on the beach
its on my nose, in my hands
on my lips, on my mind
seven years no autumn in sight
no leaves fall, tangle in my hair
no forest of Z's asleep under leaves
just the silent humming buzz of bees
the wind it blows to knock me down
but i stay on the ground look up to the sky
the trees have clothes amid the drifting clouds
laughter so young float along the humid
low and mature surf fresh greens
life as a butterfly
seeing people walk on by
life as a big old oak tree
letting random's come and lean on me
brace the joyous sunshine of life
dance in the element of surprise
hand in hand with your soul
fresh, bright eyes lined up with yours
feel it in your hair
fly with your heart and peaceful
summer pris-temps
